U.S.A. Shipping Guidlines
Most of our products are shipped via USPS Mail within the 48 Contiguous United States, Hawaii and Alaska, and to APO-FPO addresses.
We have a flat rate shipping fee of $4.90 for all basic orders and accompanying shipments (up to 13 ounces shipping weight).
On heavier orders (over 13 ounces shipping weight), we factor in the total shipping weight of the package and calculate the shipping costs accordingly.
Similarly, shipping costs are also calculated by the physical dimensions of the package. If the size of the package exceeds USPS or UPS minimums for the flat rate then the shipping cost will be higher.
This combination of weight and dimensions will be reflected in the shipping quote you are given on the My Cart and Checkout pages.
We use the United States Postal Service (USPS) as our primary shipping partner. We reserve the right to use United Parcel Service (UPS) as a carrier, or others not mentioned, to insure the best and fastest delivery service possible.
Next Day Air and 2nd Day Air are also available. For orders within the 48 Contiguous United States, you may indicate your desire for expedited (fast) delivery directly in our shopping cart. Simply select the "Next Day Air" or "2nd Day Air" option and review the respective shipping fee.
Timing of Shipping
Within the 48 contiguous United States, you can expect delivery from 3 to 10 business days after placing your order depending upon your geographic location and carrier's workload. This is an estimated transit time and is not guaranteed.
Estimated delivery times to Hawaii, Alaska, and APO/FPO addresses, and U.S. Territories are closer to 5 to 12 business days.
No tracking or delivery confirmation is available to APO-FPO addresses and may not be available to U.S. Territories.
Lost or Destroyed Shipments & Insurance
It is rare when a shipment is lost or destroyed en route to you - but - it can and does happen occassionally.
You can protect yourself against ALL loss, theft, damage and destruction by selecting any UPS Option in our shopping cart when you checkout:
Fully Insured means: If your order/shipment is lost, stolen, damaged, destroyed or otherwise turns up missing, Wild Earth Market insures the loss IN FULL. We will provide a 100% refund - or issue a complete re-shipment - depending on your needs - at our expense.
If you are feeling lucky, and desire to save a few dollars, you can select 'Standard Shipping' in our shopping cart:
However, please be aware that when using 'Standard Shipping' there is NO insurance or loss compensation available. If your order/shipment is lost/stolen/destroyed - you are out of luck.
Should loss or damage occur, you will be responsible for the full cost of your order/shipment when you select the 'Standard Shipping' option.
FYI: From our historical shipping data, 1.7% of all shipments have some sort of loss or damage that occurs in transit. Said another way, 98.3% sail through with no problem at all.
So ... is insuring your order worth it? Mathematically speaking, probably not ... unless you are part of the 1.7%, then you'll be really glad you selected the fully insured UPS option.
Expedited UPS 2nd Day Air and UPS Next Day Air
UPS 2nd Day Air and UPS Next Day Air services are available to most locations within the 48 contiguous United States, Hawaii and Alaska. These are our most easily trackable, reliable, and expedient shipping methods.
Expedited deliveries such as this are possible only on business days (Monday - Friday).
Next Day and 2nd Day Air orders placed by 12:00PM Eastern Standard Time are processed and usually shipped out on the same day (Monday-Friday).
Next Day and 2nd Day Air orders will receive special consideration after the 12:00 pm deadline and may well go out that same day (although this is not guaranteed after the noon deadline).
Please note that we and/or our carriers do not consider weekend days as delivery or transit days for expedited shipments. Thus, a 2nd Day Air order placed by 12:00PM Eastern Standard Time on a Thursday would be delivered the following Monday. Saturdays and Sunday are NOT to be calculated in the above delivery time frame, nor should you expect weekend delivery.
No Signature Required
Shipping involves an inherent risk of loss due to lost or damaged packages. Retail sales involve an inherent risk of order fraud and loss. To best protect our customers from incurring such losses, we cannot ship orders officially designated as "no signature required." Please be advised that shipping carriers may reserve the right to deliver packages, especially unexpedited packages, without a signature, according to their policies and at their discretion.
Saturday DeliveryWhile special Saturday Delivery expedited shipping services may be available to some locations (such as UPS Next Day Saturday Delivery), we do not use these services. This is due to their high expense and unreliable delivery histories associated with them.
Heat Sensitive Products
Some of the products we carry are sensitive to prolonged exposure to high temperatures.
If the product you are viewing on our website is heat sensitive, we will clearly display it as "Heat Sensitive" on that product's web page and in the shopping cart. For such products, we strongly recommend that you choose expedited shipping, especially during hot summer weather.
Heat Sensitive Products shipping within the USA via 2nd Day Air will depart from our warehouse on Monday through Wednesday. We cannot ship Heat Sensitive Products on Thursdays and Fridays due to the potential for spoilage and lost potency.
Similarly, such orders shipping within the USA via Next Day Air may ship Monday through Thursday, but cannot ship out on Friday.
Customers who choose to ship Heat Sensitive Products via Standard and Ground shipping services agree to take full responsibility for the condition of the products received. We do not offer refunds on any Heat Sensitive Products.
Note: Heat Sensitive products are NOT automatically shipped with ice packs, and they are NOT automaticallty shipped in thermal containers.

As we are an Internet company, we communicate with you primarily by email. Please provide an accurate email address with your order. We also encourage you to add us to your email contact list and/or investigate your Internet browser and security programs to ensure that you will receive emails from us regarding your order and shipment(s). We do not want to end up in your Spam or Junk mail boxes!

Additional charges will be applied if the delivery address you provide is incorrect or if the package needs to be forwarded to a different location due to an error in communicating the information to us. PLEASE do not forget to add your apartment, suite or unit numbers and your daytime telephone number. We cannot be responsible for problems your order may encounter due to inaccuracies in the information you provide.
Failure of you to receive, miss the delivery of, or refusal to accept your shipment does not relieve you from the shipping/handling issues incurred by your order and may not relieve you from the cost of the products shipped.
1. On a small percentage of items, their weight, bulk and/or special qualities (i.e. drop shipment, need for refrigeration, or highly discounted pricing) requires a slightly higher shipping amount and/or different delivery method. If this is the case, it will be prominently noted on that product's web page and you will see that also clearly reflected in our Shopping Cart.
2. Orders to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico and/or US Virgin Islands are shipped via USPS Mail only. Please note that orders to these destinations may require special processing and shipping. The shipping fee and estimated transit time for orders to these destinations will be calculated automatically in our Shopping cart.
3. APO-FPO (Military) Addresses are shipped via USPS Mail only. Please note that orders to these destinations may require special processing and shipping. The shipping fee and estimated transit time for orders to these destinations will be calculated automatically in our Shopping cart.
4. Expedited service to Hawaii, Alaska, other U.S. Territories and APO/FPO addresses is not always possible (depending upon your actual geographic location). If an expedited shipping option is possible to your location, you'll see that option available in our Shopping Cart. Please note that orders to these destinations may require special processing and shipping. The shipping fee and estimated transit time for orders to these destinations will be calculated automatically in our Shopping cart.
4. Military Personnel: Due to current world events, our delivery partners inform us to expect some packages to take up to 8 weeks for delivery to certain "hazardous zone" APO/FPO U.S. military addresses and U.S. Territories.
Return of Products
Returning Unused Products
Should you choose to return a new, unopened, re-saleable product(s), you are entitled to a full refund, minus shipping fees and a 15% restocking fee ... if you return the product(s) within 30 days of purchase. After 30 days, we no longer have the data or ability to refund your credit card.
This does NOT apply to Heat Sensitive and Frozen products. These items are simply NOT returnable.

Please include your name, address, original invoice number and receipt, email address, and daytime phone as well as your reason for returning. Please e-mail in advance to approve the return.
Returning Opened or Used Products
We cannot (and do not) accept returns on items that have been opened, used or have their safety seals broken.
If you open it - you own it.
Returns Due to Invalid or Incorrect Address
Should you inadvertently submit an order with an incorrect, invalid or undeliverable shipping address, the package will eventually be returned to us by our shipping partner. In these cases, we will a). issue a full refund to your credit card (less a 15% re-stocking fee), and b. attempt to contact you and inform of the erroneous shipping address.
You'll have the option to place a new order and new shipment at that time.
Shipping Fees - Non-Refundable
Shipping fees are not refundable and will be deducted from the total amount of refund.
All returns will be subject to a 15% re-stocking fee - this will be deducted from the total amount of refund. Refunds will be transmitted electronically to your credit card account.
We strongly recommend that you ship the return to us by a safe, trackable shipping method such as UPS – we must receive your return in order to issue a refund.
We are diligently scanning orders for signs of fraud. Dometic and International orders which are suspicious will be held for investigation. We notify the appropriate authorities in cases of fraud and/or suspicion. We reserve the right to cancel any order at any time.
International Shipping Guidelines
We ship to virtually every country and geographic location in the world.
We have a flat rate shipping fee of $15.90 for all basic international orders and accompanying shipments.
On heavier orders, we factor in the total weight of the package and calculate the shipping costs accordingly. Examples: a 3 pound parcel would cost $22.90, and a 12 pound parcel would be $74.90, etc.
Your delivery time will vary greatly depending upon both your country's mail service capabilities AND your customs office workload. You should allow at least 3 weeks from the time of your order for delivery - while expecting it could take up to 6 weeks to arrive.
We ship international parcels via either 1st Class International Mail, or Priority Mail International - only.
These International methods do NOT have insurance or tracking capabilities. This utilizes both the services of the United States Postal Service & Your National Mail Service as well.
If an International parcel is lost or destroyed, your expenditure is lost. There is no refund or claim available for this method.
What if your country is not automatically calculated?
Important Notes for International Customers
1. On International Orders, please understand that there is always a risk of delay due to local Customs Authorities and their regulations. Please investigate your country's rules and procedures before ordering.
2. We cannot be responsible for problems your order may encounter with your country's Customs officials.
We are not responsible for orders confiscated or stopped by Customs, or duties/taxes that your shipment may incur. If your package is returned or lost by Customs and/or the carrier, a refund will not be applicable to shipping and handling charges, and may not be applicable to the products ordered.
3. Failure of you to receive, miss the delivery of, or refusal to accept your shipment does not relieve you from the shipping/handling incurred by your order and may not relieve you from the cost of the products shipped.
4. Large Quantity Orders: Please understand that most countries have a 'personal usage' law. That is, as a private citizen of your country, you are allowed to import a certain number of products (usually 12 or less) for 'personal usage'.
If you attempt to import more than your country's legal amount (check with your jurisdiction's customs office for precise information), you'll be considered a 'merchant'. This may trigger your package (and you) to accrue additional duty, tax and regulation above (and more stringent) than for 'personal usage'.
We reserve the right to split large orders into smaller segments, shipping parts of your order over several days, to minimize these potential issues with customs. If additional shipping fees are required for this, we will hold your order and contact you with corrective shipping and payment details.
